This is a beginner-friendly, lecture-and-hands-on session on starting native plants from seeds and cuttings and caring for them through their early stages. We’ll cover essential tools and materials, matching species to site conditions (sun, soil, moisture, mature size), genetic provenance and timing, seed handling (cleaning and stratification), simple vegetative methods, sowing, and basic nursery care—no prior experience required.
