Step into the quiet wisdom of the field and forest as we explore the healing potential of dock root, a resilient plant long valued in traditional herbal practices. Guests will begin with a mini tour of the farm’s herbs and healing plants before gathering for a live demonstration on how this humble root can be crafted into a nourishing, plant-based salve that gently supports the skin’s natural ability to restore and soothe itself.
Together, we’ll walk through the process of preparing and infusing dock root, blending it with complementary ingredients to create a soothing balm. Along the way, we’ll discuss its traditional uses—often associated with calming irritation, supporting dry or troubled skin, and restoring balance through gentle, plant-based care.
You’ll leave with your own handcrafted salve, additional supplies to create another batch at home—including beeswax and dried herbs—and a deeper understanding of how herbal preparations can become a meaningful part of everyday wellness rituals.
